About Me

About me

I bring a wealth of knowledge, real-world experience, serious creative chops and tenacious drive to the table on a daily basis.

A strategic thinker with creative integrity and a team-oriented, collaborative approach, Alex has cultivated a vibrant 20 years of photography, design, marketing and brand development experience. Bacon has developed successful digital and print marketing campaigns for long-established Fortune 500 clients and startups alike. As a team builder, self-starter and hands-on art director he is involved in every detail of a campaign: video and photo shoots, putting his extensive design skills to work, combining digital design and old-world techniques, carrying out a cohesive concept across various platforms.

In addition to earning his stripes at some of the top-tier creative shops in Los Angeles, Bacon co-founded G.A.M.A. Function, with artists Dan Peterka, Matt Donahue and Chris Brunkhart, a renowned artists’ collective with a focus on brand development using multi-disciplinary collaboration. Through G.A.M.A Function, Bacon also served as design director of Slake: Los Angeles a quarterly art, photography and literary journal. Slake has since gone on to win multiple literary and design awards and is the journal of record for and about Los Angeles.
